“Sound game training” app is an app for practicing sound games.
You can check the notes by playing back the video, and you can also pseudo-play by touching on the video.

Adding a Playback Video

There are four ways to add videos to play in the application.

Camera Roll

The Camera Roll is the place where videos are saved when you take a video on your device. You can view it from the Photos app.
Here’s how you can add them in this app.

  1. Open the “Video List” screen
  2. Click on the “Add Video” button at the bottom right of the screen
  3. Select “Camera Roll” from the list of alternatives
  4. Select the video you want to add
  5. Enter your registration information and click the “Add” button

After this step, you can return to the “Video List” screen and your added videos will be in the list.

iCloud Drive

iCloud Drive is an online storage service provided by Apple. You can view it in the Files app.
Here’s how to add them in this application.

  1. Open the “Video List” screen
  2. Click on the “Add Video” button at the bottom right of the screen
  3. Select “iCloud Drive” from the list of alternatives
  4. Select the video you want to add
  5. Enter your registration information and click the “Add” button

After this step, you can return to the “Video List” screen and your added videos will be in the list.

Transfer from PC

It’s a way to transfer videos from the Music (formerly iTunes) application on your PC to the application storage on your device.
Use iTunes to share files between your computer and your iOS or iPadOS device” page will tell you how to transfer it to the app, please see here.
Here’s how to add them in this application.

  1. Open the “Video List” screen
  2. Click on the “Add Video” button at the bottom right of the screen
  3. Select “Within the app” from the list of alternatives
  4. Select the video you want to add
  5. Enter your registration information and click the “Add” button

After this step, you can return to the “Video List” screen and your added videos will be in the list.

Play YouTube Video

YouTube is a video sharing service provided by Google. There are videos of sound games uploaded by others.
Here’s how to add them in this application.

  1. Open the “Video List” screen
  2. Click on the “Add Video” button at the bottom right of the screen
  3. Select “YouTube” from the list of alternatives
  4. Go to the video page you want to add on the YouTube site
  5. Click the “Add video” button at the bottom right of the video page
  6. Enter your registration information and click the “Add” button

After this step, you can return to the “Video List” screen and your added videos will be in the list.

Since the application does not download YouTube videos, traffic is generated every time a video is played in this application.

Pseudo game

You won’t be paused by tapping on the playing video screen.
So you can play a pseudo sound game.

There are many other features that make practicing easier.

  • Adjust the video playback speed
    You can adjust the playback speed in the range of 0.25-2.00x speed.
  • Adjust the start/end position of video playback
    You can set the start and end of the play area to focus on the difficult parts of the game.
  • Zoom in/out and adjust the position of the video
    Scaling and positioning can be done to make the video fit the device resolution.
  • Flipping the video screen
    The video screen can be flipped left to right
  • Support for both portrait and landscape video
    You can fix your device orientation in portrait or landscape mode.
  • Shortcut key to rewind/fast forward a few seconds during playback
    The shortcut key is set up so that you can easily manipulate the time without having to pause and use the seek bar.

Bookmark the playback position

There is a function to register the start/end position of video playback as a bookmark.
By setting the playback start/end position for each number, you can quickly change the playback position for the part you want to practise.

Supports a variety of game lines

The touchline of the sound game is often different for each device. The touchline position of the desired video and the device may be different.
To solve this problem, the app supports a guide to help you align the touchline on your device.

Depending on the device where you recorded the playback video, you may not be able to adjust the touch position.
